GIVING

Garden School students are encouraged to think and learn independently and take initiative, thus allowing them to experience the rewards of inquiry and reflection. We can deliver this excellence because our students and teachers are provided with the best educational resources available.

Garden continues to flourish due to the generous efforts of many people. For generations, alumni, parents, trustees, faculty, staff, and friends have supported Garden School through their philanthropic contributions and volunteerism. We are indebted to our many donors and volunteers who support our school each year.

Your gift matters because it supports our faculty, students, and academic, arts, and athletic programs that prepare Garden students to become tomorrow’s leaders. A gift of any size has immediate impact on the teaching and learning at our school.

We invite your participation in the many volunteer and philanthropic opportunities, which make a difference in the life of every Garden student.

Time
Garden has many volunteer opportunities.

  • The Garden School Parents’ Association supports the school in numerous ways, including fundraising for faculty appreciation and special events for students. Some of our favorite events are the Halloween Party, Holiday Gift Boutique, and the Walk-A-Thon, all of which need volunteers! Email pta@gardenschool.org to get involved.
  • The Garden Gala is held in the Spring. This is an elegant evening where all of the Garden Community comes out to enjoy a night of dinner and dancing and participation in the auction and scholarship fund to raise critical funds for the school. Email gala@gardenschool.org for information regarding volunteering.
  • The Garden Fund is an ongoing, annual Garden School fundraising activity, critical to the School’s operating income. It complements the fundraising from special events like the Gala, and provides the funds necessary for the program enhancements and projects needed to maintain Garden School’s level of excellence in education. Volunteers contribute to making the Garden Fund a success. Email development@gardenschool.org for more information.
