Located in the heart of Jackson Heights, Garden School is a NYSAIS-accredited, Nursery to Grade 12 independent college preparatory school.

Our Road to 100 Strategic Plan

Garden School’s “Road to 100” Strategic Plan is a multi-year plan detailing how we intend to refine, grow, and invest while securing and reinforcing attributes and programs that have always made Garden School one of the finest places to learn and work.

Our Academic Programs

At Garden, Early Childhood consists of Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten. Here, your child takes their first steps along an educational path that will continue through high school and beyond. In our Lower Division, students in Grades 1 through 6 experience the right blend of academic focus and additional specialist classes. Our Upper Division students in Grades 7 through 12 have the opportunity to have interpersonal relationships with their teachers, individual attention and mentoring, and meaningful educational experiences.

Garden School Climate Change Debate

Garden School’s 4th through 12th grades participated in a debate over climate change. Six upper school students presented arguments for and against human-generated climate change. They all extensively researched the subject and spoke eloquently about the issue. In addition, questions were fielded from the audience.
