Owen comes to Garden with a lifelong love of mathematics and numbers, fostered by great teachers that he plans to channel as he begins his time at Garden. Beginning his undergraduate experience at Wesleyan University as a math major, before transferring to the UVM to study psychology, he brings a unique perspective on teaching math and a vested interest in student thinking. His love of teaching and working with students led him to pursue a Master’s in Math Education from Vanderbilt University. Owen brings his passion for math to Garden School and is very excited to become a part of our community.
